I am a SSHRC Fellow, and an IDRC and CCHS scholar in political science at Dalhousie University. My work focuses on state-society relations in post-conflict societies. I used to work for the United Nations and the United States Agency for International Development (1993-2001). Trained as a human rights lawyer, I have worked both as a human rights investigator and a lecturer.
